Jio 5G Cloud Gaming Plan

“The trial is a significant to upgrade console based cloud games, as multiple gamers will be  connected to the Jio recharge 5G plan network using their VR headsets & gaming accessories,” Aayush Bhatnagar senior vice president of Jio  said in a Linkedin post recently.

Using Jio recharge 5G  network plan , gamers can take advantage of instant gesture controls, as well as VR technology. Aayush Bhatnagar said that the trial is a “watershed moment for India’s gaming industry”.

Jio Competitor

Jio’s biggest rival  Airtel last September conducted a Cloud gaming seminar in Gurgaon, using the 5G trial which was  allotted by the government of India.

Benefits Of Cloud Gaming

Cloud gaming allows users to stream and play games in real-time without installing the game or investing in gaming hardware which would definitely change the Indian Gaming Industry and also the cloud gaming will be pocket friendly as earlier we have to buy the gaming setup and also pay money to buy games and install but in cloud gaming we would be able to play online as the games would be stored in cloud storage which will save our storage.

The Indian government is planning to auction 5G airwaves around June-July and is targeting to launch 5G calling by the August-September timeframe.

Indian Government Plans

The government plans to auction over 1 lakh units of spectrum across 600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2500 MHz, 3.3-3.67 GHz and 24.25-27.5 GHz bands, valued at around Rs 5 lakh-crore. The value is for the spectrum given out for 20 years. The price for 30 years spectrum use would be 1.5 times the 20-year rates, according to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
